About

Hi, I’m Essie — a writer, semi-nomadic creator learning how to live the life that fits.

This blog began as a breadcrumb trail — a way to mark moments of adventure, heartbreak, healing, and homecoming. Over time, it became something steadier: a place to tell the stories that happen after the dream cracks and you decide to choose yourself anyway.

I tried to make traditional life work. But you can’t force an unbending pole into a shoebox. After every ending, I find my way back to the road — not because it’s easy, but because it’s where my breath comes back and my life makes sense again.

I’m here again.
Not starting over — starting deeper.

These days, I’m not chasing destinations. I’m learning how to live slowly. How to work remotely. How to make art from forest edges and truck-stop picnic tables. How to let wonder back into ordinary days.

✨ What is Traveler of Wands?

It’s a wandering journal.
A place to tell the truth about rebuilding, becoming, and choosing a life that actually fits.

Here you’ll find:

• Musings from the road
• Glimpses of my handmade art and jewelry
• Stories about building a digital life from anywhere
• Gentle rituals for rootless living
• Honest reflections about unraveling and re-forging

Willow is always along for the ride. 🐾

Traveler of Wands is for quiet rebels, witchy creatives, and anyone standing at the edge of change — whether you’re already living on the road or just beginning to dream about it.
