I like some unusual things, things I call “creepy cute” because ghosts, ghouls, black, fangs, ect aren’t exactly supposed to be cute but sometimes they are. I think the best way for me to explain is to show you. So I’ve rounded up some of the things I’d buy for me and any self-proclaimed weirdo for the holidays. You know, in case you want to get me something or you have no clue what to get your co-worker.

I found this Ghost Tote Bag from emandsprout when I was browsing another blog, but the pattern was for a dress. I was browsing the Etsy shop and found the tote and am putting it on my “to be bought with my credit card when I cannot  stand another moment without it” list.

I found You, Me and Bones on Instagram and fell in love with their creepy doll head candles. They’ve got other stuff but it all falls into the “weirdo” category and I like it. Heads up though, the company is from Australia so factor in extra shipping time. As in order it today!

The Rogue + The Wolf is another Instagram find. I am in love with this jewelry. Its perfect for anyone and not just your average alternative girl but could work for just about anyone who on occasion ventures to the darker, spookier side of life.

If you’re looking for something that has mass appeal, let me steer you towards the make up section. I have two companies that if you don’t already know about you’re basically going to hate me for exposing you to them.

I love that you can get something from Melt for any woman on the planet. They cover every range from the super girlie girl, to the conservative to the alternative and they are really inexpensive (you know once you get past not putting one of everything in your cart). They carry things besides lipsticks but really, those lipsticks!

I actually have a lipstick from Lunatick labs and you can see me wearing Bruja here. I love the bullet shaped tube it comes in too! I bought a few other things from them and it was well worth it. I’m 85% sure they were another instagram find. Isn’t instagram the greatest?

I live to basically decorate my room in skull everything. Halloween is always my favorite time to shop for decor. I don’t particularly like plants but these planters might have me change my mind. In fact, I have some fake flowers that would look stunning in those. Darn it, Mudpuppy, you win.

Don’t tell anyone but I actually got this for my room mate because it is hilarious and when the Nugget was just a sprawling babe, we used to sing Dance Magic Dance to her, but before that we’d sing it to each other. She always insisted on watching movies or listening to music to go to sleep and it was usually The Early November or The Jungle Book. One day I got her to watch something different and it was the Labyrinth and every since it’s been one of our things. She even has a Labyrinth t-shirt but this is just, I’m going down in history as the best gift giver ever and so can you thanks to Etsy & HolyPopCulture.

You can always count on being super popular by getting someone an inexpensive print like this $5 bat watercolor from Dimdimini and putting it in a cool frame and giving it as a gift. It shows a lot of thought and effort behind your gift and it doesn’t have to be spooky or creepy. There is actually an owl water color by the same artist that I think I may get for my room mate who likes owls as much as I do. 🙂 But maybe for her birthday because I already got her the Jareth candle and some other stuff.

To go with the creepy animal print you can always go with an equally creepy but awesome skull picture frame from WholesaleFrame on Etsy! How perfect is that? Man, I don’t know if I’m helping you shop or you are helping me go into debt.

Ganbatte makes Day of the Dead Cat Sculptures and more. I absolutely adore these and whether someone is a fan of the unusual or just a crazy cat lady (or man, I won’t discriminate) these would make an excellent and unique gift. No need to stand in a return line because no one is taking this gift back.
